David Casanas has joined the St. Armands Circle office of Michael Saunders & Company.

He specializes in both Sarasota and Manatee counties. Casanas spent nearly two decades helping his father with investment properties.

His resume in sales includes many awards and accomplishments for sales records, innovation, profit and customer service while working as an inventory specialist and technical adviser at Apple, Inc. and as a store manager at Best Buy.

Pete Robertson has joined the Venice office of Michael Saunders & Company.

Initially licensed in 2012, Robertson has an established record, with over 200 transactions, and is known for discretion and privacy when representing valued customers.

Before joining Michael Saunders & Company, he worked with Windermere Prestige Properties in Las Vegas, as well as Star Real Estate in Huntington, California. He also has personal experience in investment properties and rentals.

The Lake Club, in Lakewood Ranch, has added Janice Cowden and Chantal Kottmeyer as Information Center new home specialists.

New home specialists educate guests about current lot availability, preferred builders and the many amenities at The Lake Club.

Kottmeyer joins The Lake Club after working as a residential real estate associate in the Lakewood Ranch area for Coldwell Banker.

Cowden’s primary career was in nursing. She obtained her Florida real estate license in 2010, and in 2018 began working as a part-time hostess for AR Homes.

The Lake Club continues to add more residences and amenities. It recently opened a new enclave, Genoa.

Michelle R. Armstrong has joined Re/Max Alliance Group as a real estate agent in the Bradenton office. She formerly worked with a predecessor of Re/Max Alliance Group before moving to South Carolina, where she was also a Re/Max agent.

Armstrong has 23 years of real estate experience. She is a Graduate of the Realtor Institute and a member of the 100% Club, recognizing outstanding performance.

Steve Schneider has joined Florida Business Opportunities, Inc.

He is an entrepreneur with over 40 years of hands-on experience in business ownership, operations and equity and asset transactions.

His experience as a licensed business broker began with the purchase of a Corporate Investment Business Brokers franchise in 1983. Schneider is a registered franchise consultant.

He has an undergraduate degree in accounting.

Kris Marra has joined Re/Max Platinum Realty as a real estate agent in the West Villages office, in Venice. She has 20 years of real estate experience and has been consistently recognized among the top 5% of agents nationwide.

Marra specializes in residential real estate, including primary residences, second homes and investment properties. Her focus is on relocations.

Marra is an Accredited Buyer’s Representative and a Seniors Real Estate Specialist. She was an associate broker in Pennsylvania before moving to Florida.

Her performance and client service have earned her the Five Star Award for customer satisfaction and the Pittsburgh Times award for “Who’s Who in Real Estate.”

Marra attended the University of Pittsburgh and Penn State.

Rod Underdahl has joined the Palmer Ranch-Sarasota office of Michael Saunders & Company. He has two decades of experience as a real estate agent.

He moved to Sarasota in 1984. A successful independent businessman for over 20 years, Underdahl received his real estate and mortgage broker licenses in 2002.

He currently specializes in properties throughout southeast Sarasota.

Sandra Walker has joined the Palmer Ranch-Sarasota office of Michael Saunders & Company.

She was raised in Sarasota. She practiced interior design in Sarasota and Washington, D.C., where she lived for many years, using her architectural skills to renovate several homes.

Walker has a bachelor’s in architecture, and bachelor’s and master’s degrees in art and art education from the University of Florida.
